Thought I would share this book that I’ve made with everyone.
Materials I’ve used :
- Natural Washable Kraft Paper Fabric as the cover. Imported from U.S.
- Taiwan Fine Smooth Canvas (black) as the back cover. Very thick and good quality.
- Sea Blue thread to bind the signatures together.
- 16 signatures (48 pages, yellow and white papers), 120gsm.
- Satin green ribbon as a closure for the book. It is attached to the book.
- Silver book corners.
Size of the book 15.5 cm x 22 cm. (Width x Length).
Designed the cover of the book myself and hand bounded with care.

My 1st time making mini hand bound books. Though I’ve still got a long way to go to make it good :)

I’m currently testing on how to design book covers for hand bound books. Trying to apply my work into this book and might try on different material as well. For this cover I used watercolor paper, faber castle watercolor pencils, distress ink and 0.1 waterproof blank pen. I stick the artwork on a clipboard frame which I had prepared earlier with fabric. I would like to know what you think about this and I would accept comments and suggestions on how I can improve and improvise :)
